Las Vegas Couple Marries in Marijuana Growhouse

A local couple chose to commemorate the July 1st recreational sales start date by tying the knot inside one of the largest cannabis cultivation facilities in Las Vegas.  They said “I do” surrounded by grow lights and marijuana plants.

Instead of wedding flowers he wore marijuana flowers as a boutonniere, But the newlyweds say they didn't consume the drug and don't plan on doing so, the wedding ceremony was a show of support for the legalization of weed.

Anna and Mark Balfe-Taylor met each other a year ago in yoga class and decided to exchange vows in this unusual venue as Mark puts it "The legalization of recreational marijuana became an important issue after my father was jailed on a cannabis crime."  The enormous cultivation facility was a beautiful setting for this unique wedding ceremony.
